| I've spilt liquid on my keyboard what do I do? If its a laptop with a removable battery, turn laptop off by holding power key down for approx 5 seconds, disconnect all power (battery charger) upend the laptop onto a towel to absorb as much moisture as possible, remove the battery and give us a call when this has been done If it has a non-removable battery, turn laptop off by holding power key down for approx 5 seconds, disconnect all power (battery charger) upend the laptop onto a towel to absorb as much moisture as possible and give us a call when this has been done If it is a desktop keyboard, unplug the keyboard from the desktop, upend it onto a towel, pat gently to help drain the liquid. If it does not work 24 hours later, you need a new keyboard.. We're adding information all the time so watch this space! |
